Her name is Barkeeper Miss Kitty. She's a five year old, 14.3hh, triple registered (AQHA, FQHA, and IBHA) buckskin. As a yearling, she placed top five in both Indiana and Illinois Buckskin Futurity in halter. In 2008/2009, she had 9 months of professional training to prepare for her show career. She's been shown in the American Ranch Horse Association starting in the 2009 Three Year Old World Show Ranch Horse Challenge where she finished World Champion in Conformation and fourth place overall showing in conformation, ranch riding, ranch reining and working ranch horse. She's been shown in regional ARHA shows performing in everything from halter, trail, ranch riding, ranch reining, ranch roping, ranch cutting, and working ranch horse. Yes, she loves to do the cow stuff! Miss Kitty earned her ROM in ranch riding in 2010 and an ROM in Conformation in 2011. She also was awarded an ARHA Champion certificate in 2011! In addition, Miss Kitty's been used as a lesson horse. In 2010, she was leased for the 4-H season and did everything from pleasure to speed events with an 11 year old aboard. She is a willing and quiet lady. She accepts all of her jobs easily and is happy to do whatever.She's been showing this year in some open shows and with the American Ranch Horse Association. She's sound and current on her shots and farrier. She bathes and stalls quietly. She is extremely well broke; requiring only the slightest cues from seat and legs. We can't say enough about her. Colby is a 1998, 16.1 hh AQHA chestnut gelding. He is as versatile as they come. He has been consistently shown in ranch horse, open shows and breed shows. He can do it all. He has a quiet temperament and any kid can handle him. My daughter can easily take him out alone and bareback on him and give her friends a ride on his bare back too! He trailers, bathes, ties, goes out on trails, etc. with no problems. You can't say enough good about his performance in the arena. He has ROM's in ranch horse in youth ranch riding and showmanship and is probably close to getting others as well. He was the 2009 and 2010 Indiana Ranch Horse Youth High Point Winner and the 2010 Michigan Ranch Horse High Point winner.He is an easy steady ride in riding classes and is an unbeatable showmanship machine. He usually wins bareback riding classes as his gaits and transitions are all super smooth. His 10 year old owner has had loads of success with him in both youth and open showing. He will walk quietly into a herd of cows for roping as well. He gets along with other horses. He is sound and healthy. He does not ever buck, rear, bolt, dart, kick, etc. He is a true beginner ready horse that your child can haul to next weekend’s show and start winning.
